Full Description: A Name to Remember was made in 1958. It follows a guided tour of the factory. People had first visited the factory in the 1850s. Organised tours, led by women guides, began in 1919 and continued until the 1960s. This clip shows Jack Bryant icing the cakes. Mr Bryant had been with Huntley & Palmers for over 40 years when this film was recorded and he followed in the footsteps of his father, who iced cakes at Huntley & Palmers for over 60 years. |
