Full Description: In the centre of the third row from the front (but not in the middle of the photograph as this is only part of the original) are seated the school headmistress and her staff. The school badge is also shown on the photograph between the date. The school stood in Highfield Avenue, Aldershot and was opened in 1912. When the boys moved to Farnborough Grammar School, the school continued as a Girls' Grammar School until its closure. It was demolished in the 1990s and housing built on the site. |
