| Full Description: The hospital was situated in St. Georges Road and was opened in 1897 as a cottage hospital and later extended several times. In 1977 it was demolished and a centre for the Church of Latter Day Saints was built in its place.
This was the commemorative tablet on the wall of the operating theatre block for the extension opened in 1929. |
