Full Description: King George VI is wearing the uniform of the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders. He is accompanied by his wife Queen Elizabeth and Major-General H.M. Wilson. Detachments of the four Scottish units who were then in Aldershot Command were on parade. These were the 1st Battalion The Cameron Highlanders, the 1st Battalion The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, the 1st Battalion The Gordon Highlanders and the 1st Battalion The Royal Scots. There are two film cameras in the middle background |
