Full Description: The first Canadian troops came by convoy, sailing into the Clyde and disembarking on 17 December 1939. The 1st Canadian Division was moved to Aldershot for training. The King, accompanied by senior army officers is inspecting the troops who are lined up on both sides of Queens Avenue. |
