Full Description: The Queen is shaking hands with local dignitaries on a presentation line. After arriving at Aldershot station, and inspecting a guard of honour in the station forecourt she drove through the town to Miss Daniell's Soldiers Home where she toured the new premises. She then attended a service at the Royal Garrison Church which was commemorating its centenary. After taking the salute at a march past of troops after the service, she had lunch at the Government House Officers' Mess, then visited the Cambridge military Hospital and the Mons Officer Cadet School. |
