Full Description: Two men in working clothes including aprons and man sitting wearing a peaked cap outside the blacksmiths. The blacksmiths forge here was occupied by generations of the Silvester (Sylvester) family from at least 1814 until the death of Arthur Silvester in 1964. Wooden wheels made in the wheelwrights shop would be rolled to the forge to have iron tyres fitted.
