Full Description: This bronze statue of the Duke of Wellington on his horse, is set on a high stone pedestal at the top of a wooded mound. It was originally put up at Hyde Park Corner in London in 1846 but was re-sited in Aldershot in 1885. The sculptor was Matthew Cotes Wyatt. Postcard. Reference: Hampshire County Council.
