Full Description: A photograph, dated 29 September 1948, looking along the chancel and nave towards the altar. The chancel and nave are Early English, and remained unaltered until major alterations in 1863, which included re-roofing the church, slightly raising the walls and the floor, and adding the porch, transept and vestry. As Mrs Florence Suckling later wrote: "Alas! for all is vandalism". The open seating also dates from this time.
